We’ve had a relatively mild winter here in my neck of the woods. That was until that pompous groundhog just HAD to put his two cents in and muck up the weather pattern. No sooner did he see his shadow last Thursday, then the snow started to fall, finally culminating today with another 12 inches. One lawyer in Ohio went as far as to seek the death penalty for Punxsutawney Phil, but was unfortunately told that was not an option. Phil is lucky that I’m not on that jury because I would personally flip the switch.
Nice shot!

The “old people” seem to get it right every time. Why does tradition hold such sway?

The old timers predict the weather better than most weathermen with all their technical equipment.

You at least found some beauty in the groundhog prediction that came true — love this photo!

Very true. It was quite beautiful out when the storm ended.

After my initial aggravation subsided, I was able to see the beauty in the first real snow storm of the season.

You have to admit, your photo is beautiful! We got hit with your storm overnight last night but with so much wind that the trees are bare.

We endured 30-50 mph winds for two days. It created snow drifts over 6 feet high on some areas of the farm!
